(18 October 2021, Shanghai) The Hurun Research Institute released the Hurun Most Successful Chinese Heritage Brands 2021, with 100 Chinese mainland the most successful brands over the age of 60. This is the second year that the Hurun Research Institute released this list, with the number of brands on the list expanding to 100 from 50 last year.
The survey scope of the list covered the brands that provide products or services to consumers in Mainland China with a history of more than 60 years. It comprehensively examines the three dimensions of brand history, value and cultural connotation, and ranked each brand based on the total score. Brand historical weight is 40%, which examines the earliest time of the brand name, not the time of product appearance; brand value weight is 40%, which examines the market value or valuation of the brand’s contribution to the company; brand cultural connotation weight is 20%, which examines the brand’s country and country Cultural representation of the industry.
